EDA announces new SPRINT Challenge

The U.S. Economic Development Administration has announced a new initiative to help organizations across the country address the economic, health, and safety risks caused by the coronavirus pandemic through entrepreneurship and innovation.

Titled the “Scaling Pandemic Resilience Through Innovation and Technology (SPRINT) Challenge,” the program is a $25 million national competition funded by the CARES Act. Details are outlined in the SPRINT Challenge Notice of Funding Opportunity, and grants will be eligible for up to $500,000 over a 12-month period of performance or up to $750,000 over an 18-month period of performance.
