Georgia Research Authority names a new President
The Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) has a new President. Susan Shows, the organization’s long-time Senior Vice President, succeeds Russell Allen who held the post for just two years.
Allen, the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Georgia Bio, stepped into the position after the retirement of Mike Cassidy, GRA’s top executive for 18 years. According to this article, Allen has decided to pursue working with a new firm focused on providing commercialization services for life science start-ups.
