New time, location announced for next week’s Bunker Labs “Veterans in Residence” celebration

There have been a couple of changes related to next week’s Bunker Labs “Veterans in Residence” (VIR) nationwide celebration since we posted this article on May 9. The Knoxville portion of the event will now run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 1 at Appalachian Grit, 2547 Sutherland Avenue.

As noted on the EventBrite registration link, the event includes about 30 minutes of scheduled programming featuring introductions to the entrepreneurs who participated “22 Alpha,” the inaugural local cohort of the national VIR program. The participants began their work in early December as described in this teknovation.biz article. The nationwide event spans 23 cities and three virtual cohorts, celebrating more than 400 veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs launching their start-ups and businesses. local veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs, as well as open, unstructured networking time.

We have already spotlighted two of the local participants – Brent Gallo who launched Hire A Cyber Pro (click here for that article) and David Watts who founded Security Effects Inc. (click here for that article).
