Bunker Labs Knoxville, 22 other cities holding VIR showcase on June 1

The Bunker Labs Knoxville group is joining with chapters in 22 other cities across the country for a nationwide showcase casting the spotlight participants in the “Veterans in Residence” program.

Scheduled for 6 p.m. June 1 at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, the local event will celebrate the start-ups that are completing the inaugural cohort in Knoxville. They comprise what is referred to as “22 Alpha” and began their work in early December as described in this teknovation.biz article. The nationwide event spans 23 cities and three virtual cohorts, celebrating more than 400 veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs launching their start-ups and businesses.

We have already spotlighted one of the local participants – Brent Gallo who launched Hire A Cyber Pro. You can find that article here. Tomorrow’s feature article will be about David Watts, another veteran who founded Security Effects Inc.

Space is limited for the finale, so those interested in attending should register soon at this link.

Another of the cities that is hosting a showcase is Nashville which will have its celebration at WeWork Office Space and Co-working, 901 Woodland Street. Registration information for the Nashville event can be found here.
