3686 Conference heads to Germantown with new programming, Sept. 14-16

Launch Tennessee is bringing its headline entrepreneur conference back in a new neighborhood with new events and the largest expected turnout to date.

With early bird tickets going live in just a few days on June 24, Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) has announced exciting updates to this year’s 3686 conference.

Named for Nashville’s geographic coordinates, 3686 draws hundreds of startup founders, investors, corporate leaders and ecosystem partners from across the country. Last year, more than 30 states were represented, and the 2024 event attracted nearly 1,000 attendees over three days.

“Beyond a basic annual conference, 3686 is where innovation happens in real time,” said LaunchTN CEO Lindsey Cox. “Our three-day conference facilitates investment deals, spurs novel ideas and provides expert content for an optimal learning experience. And we make it fun!”

New location

After two years at Cannery Hall, 3686 is moving to Germantown, creating a walkable, multi-venue campus. Brooklyn Bowl will serve as the main hub, with additional events at Tailgate Brewery, Von Elrod’s Beer Hall, First Horizon Park and the Tennessee State Library & Archives.

New programming

A startup and tech job fair will join the lineup for the first time, connecting attendees with companies from Launch Tennessee’s InvestTN portfolio and top regional employers.

The conference will also close with “Startup Homecoming,” featuring live music from local ’90s cover band My So-Called Band, live piano karaoke, and startup superlative awards such as “Most Likely to Disrupt,” drawn from community nominations.

New opportunities to network

The fan-favorite AI-powered matching platform from last year will be back, but even better. Last year, attendees scheduled 770 one-on-one meetings in just six hours. This year, the platform will be available for an extended window during and after the conference.

Attendees can also add on a ticket to the first-ever Tennessee Innovation Night at First Horizon Park during a Nashville Sounds game as well.

All the favorites are back, too

Returning this year: the invite-only InvestTN Summit, an “Ask Me Anything” stage with top innovators, a pitch competition with a $10,000 prize, the  Startup Showcase, expert panels, headshot activations, and more.

The lowest-priced tickets of the year go on sale June 24, with general admission opening July 13. Learn more and get tickets here.
