Treetop Hideways holding grand opening party on Saturday
Those in Chattanooga’s entrepreneurial community are well-aware of The Treehouse Project, a venture of Enoch Elwell, the guru behind the “CO.STARTERS” program, and a colleague named Andrew Alms.
The duo launched their effort to build Chattanooga’s first eco-certified treehouse retreat about a year ago with a Kickstarter campaign. You can learn more by reading this November 18, 2014 article from Nooga.com and additionally by accessing the official webpage.
Now, almost one year after launching the fundraising campaign, Elwell reports that the entrepreneurial endeavor is finished.
“We are inviting the community to our grand opening,” he said in an email to us. The date is this Saturday, November 14.
“After months of hard work and overwhelming community support, the Treehouse Project is finally ready to share,” Elwell says. “Please join us to celebrate the grand opening of Treetop Hideaways. We’re kicking off the party with kid friendly nature walks, games, and treehouse tours (of course). When the sun starts setting, we’ll light the bonfire and break out the hotdogs, s’mores, and more.” The Treehouse Project is located at 576 Chattanooga Valley Road in Flintstone, GA. Details for this Saturday’s festivities are:
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. – final workday to prep for the party.
- 3 p.m. – launch party kickoff with kid friendly nature walks and games for all.
- 4 to 7 p.m. – treehouse tours.
- 6 p.m. – bonfire and live music with hotdogs and s’mores provided.
