SSTI provides analysis of FY17 budget for innovation, R&D investments
The FY17 budget that Congress passed and the President signed last week “largely continues support for federal innovation programs and R&D investments,” according to this analysis from the State Science and Technology Institute (SSTI). Those programs include the Appalachian Regional Commission which supports roughly one-half of the state’s counties and the Department of Commerce whose “Manufacturing Extensiuon Partnership” program serves small manufacturers.
