SCRA has big impact in South Carolina
SCRA, better known as the South Carolina Research Authority when it was founded in 1983, has just issued a report showing more than 4,250 jobs are supported by SCRA programs, and the organization’s economic output in South Carolina totaled $718.6 million. The organization, headed by former Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Bob Quinn, supports entrepreneurs, enables academic research and commercialization, and connects industry to innovators.
