Northwestern Mutual Life announces second fund targeting financial services start-ups
Milwaukee-based Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company has announced the formation of a $150 million venture capital fund as an extension to its Future Ventures initiative.
The insurance company formed Future Ventures with a $50 million fund in 2017. It has thus far made 14 investments in start-ups totaling $40 million from that fund. Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures Fund II will target financial technology start-ups. Investments will continue to range between $500,000 and $5 million and be targeted to Series A and Series B rounds. Click here for more information.
