ETEC accepting nominations for 2017 awards

ETEC 2The East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC) has issued a call for nominations for its two prestigious awards. One, named the “Muddy Boot Award,” was established in 1973 to recognize efforts that mirrored those of the Oak Ridge pioneers who worked through adverse conditions to build a solid economic base. The newer award – the “Postma Young Professional Medal” – is named for the late Oak Ridge National Laboratory Director and is, as its name implies, a recognition of young leaders in the community.

ETEC is accepting nominations through August 25. For more information, read the non-profit’s recent announcement (ETEC Call for Nominations).
