New co-working facility transforming “Furniture Capital of the World”

Sometimes, you can hold onto a vision and a brand as High Point, NC has discovered. Dubbed the “Furniture Capital of the World,” the city is now home to Plant Seven, a center for design innovation housed in an approximately 98,000-square foo,t 100-year old renovated hosiery factory in High Point. It’s all because of a $3 million public and private investment to provider co-working space for independent makers and designers looking to revitalize the region with smart technology.
