Zane Venture Fund prepares to close $25 million early stage fund

Announced at $10 million last June (see teknovation.biz post here), Zane Venture Fund is now targeting the initial close of its first fund at $25 million fund.

The firm is focused on investing in diverse founders who are creating technology-enabled solutions in the Southeast. Investments range from pre-seed to Series A. The close includes investments from Tope Awotona, Chief Executive Officer of Calendly, and Sig Mosley, the legendary angel investor who’s also a venture partner.
