Critical mass does matter. Just ask the more than 20 start-up companies that have taken advantage of the commercialization center office space at the Wireless Research Center in Wake Forest, NC.

The city government provided initial funding a decade ago to help launch the as a private, independent non-profit organization dedicated to innovation and collaboration as a shared resource to help clients from around the world develop products and services that advance wireless technology innovation.
