Where’s the best place for veterans to live?
Only two Tennessee cities made the latest rankings from WalletHub, this time for the best and worst 100 cities for veteran entrepreneurs to live, and neither placed particularly high.
In fact, Nashville came in at #76, while Memphis placed #98. Neither Chattanooga nor Knoxville was in the top 100 based on their respective populations which are not in the top 100 largest cities.
Topping the list was Raleigh, NC, followed by Austin, TX; Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; and Virginia Beach, VA. Other neighboring cities ranked included Charlotte, NC (#26); Durham, NC (#35); Lexington, KY (#36); Cincinnati, OH (#42); Greensboro, NC (#48); Winston-Salem, NC (#51); Louisville, KY (#63); Birmingham, AL (#78); and Atlanta, GA (#83).
In order to determine the best places for veterans to live, WalletHub compared the 100 most populated U.S. cities across four key dimensions: employment, economy, quality of life, and health.
