Volusion releases ranking of highest-earning markets for female entrepreneurs; Memphis ranks #4
If you are a female entrepreneur, several cities in the Southeast are among those ranked near the top for highest-earning markets for female entrepreneurs. The new study was released by Volusion, a company which designs e-commerce websites. In the Volunteer State, Memphis is the highest ranked at #4 among large metropolitan areas. Birmingham is #2 and Raleigh comes in at #5. Nashville places #25. Among cities ranked as midsize, two in South Carolina – Columbia and Charleston – rank #8 and #9 respectively with Asheville, NC right behind at #10.
