
“Vol Court” kicks-off Wednesday at UT
The University of Tennessee’s (UT) “Vol Court Pitch Competition and Speaker Series” kicks-off Wednesday night with the first of six sessions. Now in its eighth year, the six-session program invites students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community to pitch their business ideas. Winners receive up to $1,500 in prize money, space in the UT Research Foundation (UTRF) Business Incubator, and legal and accounting services.
The weekly sessions run from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. every Wednesday in Room 104 of the Haslam Business Building with the final pitch event set for November 16. To be eligible to pitch in the finale, presenters must attend four of the five weekly sessions.
