
Venture firm moves to Atlanta with focus on innovative women’s healthcare start-ups
Atlanta Inno reports that SteelSky Ventures, a firm with a $50 million fund, has moved its headquarters from New York to Atlanta.
According to its website, SteekSky Ventures invests in innovative women’s healthcare start-ups, mostly in seed and Series A rounds.” The firm’s focus is across the spectrum of women’s health in medical devices, consumer health, digital health, new healthcare delivery models, ePharmacy and retail therapeutics.”
We noted that one of its portfolio companies is Motivo which got its start in Chattanooga where Rachel McCrickard, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, participated in several programs operated by CO.LAB. Motivo helps with the lengthy process of licensure for new therapists.
