VenoStent raises $2.3 million in seed funding
VenoStent, an advanced materials company that launched in Nashville before relocating to Houston to participate in the JLabs @ TMC facility, has announced that it has secured $2.3 million in seed funding.
The company leverages its unique polymer engineering technology to develop bioresorbable slip-on polymer wraps, called SelfWrap. The product is aimed at eliminating vascular surgery failures, at first targeting vascular access surgery required to initiate hemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients.
We last spotlighted the company in this teknovation.biz article last June. Click here to read the recent update on the funding success.
