
VC suggests ways to enhance value of corporate engagement with start-ups
In a recent post in WRAL TechWire, the Founder of Cofounders Capital writes: “I have often discussed the value of having strategics involved in our start-ups but if strategics are so valuable for a start-up then why don’t corporate accelerators have a much better track record than financial-only investors?”
David Gardner’s post focuses on the role of corporate accelerators, identifies several reasons, and concludes with this statement: “The best outcomes for all of these stakeholders seem to occur most often when the founders, venture capitalists and corporations all work together to bring what they do best to the synergy of a start-up.”
