UTSA named “Future Edge 50 Award” winner for 2021
Those who recall the nearly five years when Taylor Eighmy served as Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville will not be surprised with this recent recognition.
The hard-charging Eighmy is now President of the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) which has just been named a 2021 “FutureEdge 50 Award” winner by CIO, the International Data Group’s media outlet for business technology leadership. The award recognizes organizations that are pushing the edge with new technologies for future advancement.
As noted in this news release, UTSA is the only public university included in this year’s list.
