UTK faculty member named Deputy Chief Technology Officer for the U.S.

A University of Tennessee, Knoxville faculty member has been named one of two Deputy Chief Technology Officers for the U.S. Lynne Parker, who has been serving as Assistant Director for Artificial Intelligence in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy since August 2018, received the promotion in an announcement made on Twitter.
