UTC’s Hatch It! had a successful year supporting students and faculty
The Hatch It! Lab in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is a resource for many students and faculty members.
Opened in January 2021 as part of CIE’s 5,700-square foot section of the recently renovated James R. Mapp Building, the makerspace was used by 19 different classes in Spring Semester. They included everything from Feminist Science Fiction to Interior Systems Design to “Entrepreneurship: The Mindset and Skillset,” a course taught by CIE Director Libby Santin.
