
UTC seeking a Director of Economic Development
The new position will report to the Chief of Staff in the Chancellor's Office.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is recruiting for a Director of Economic Development.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff in the Chancellor’s Office, the successful applicant will serve as a primary liaison between University and community stakeholders, working closely with campus units such as the Provost’s Office, Vice Chancellor for Research, UTC Research Institute, college deans, academic program directors, and Center for Professional Education as well as local and state government, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, and other economic development organizations.
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in economic development, industry or community relations, workforce development, public policy, sales or related fields is required.
