UT plans two-day program on entrepreneurship, small business needs
Entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to see more governmental champions for their cause should take notice of a program the University of Tennessee (UT) is offering next month.
The “Tennessee Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Course” is set for August 26 and 27 at the West Tennessee Research and Education Center in Jackson. As described by UT’s Center for Industrial Services, the two-day program “is designed to help economic development practitioners, government leaders, and others interested in economic development at state, regional, and local levels understand the economic impact of small businesses . . ., identify needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses . . ., and develop effective networks and strategies to support” them.
