USC’s Business Incubator in Columbia secures grant from Truist Charitable Fund
Activities focused on supporting the information technology workforce in the Palmetto State got a boost with the announcement of a grant from Truist Financial Corporation to the University of South Carolina (USC) Columbia Technology Incubator.
The $200,000 grant for scholarships and training goes through the Truist Charitable Fund, a donor-advised fund at The Winston-Salem Foundation. The USC Columbia Technology Incubator’s mission is to help innovative individuals and businesses grow through education, mentoring and an established sense of community in the downtown incubation facility that serves entrepreneurs in the Midlands.
