Unique retail venue built from repurposed shipping containers opens at RTP
This falls into the intriguing, maybe even cool category.
Three years after planning began, Boxyard RTP, a more than 18,000 square foot development built from repurposed shipping containers, is opening in the Research Triangle Park area, opened last weekend.
“Boxyard RTP is our first step into creating a community in the Park, one where folks can brainstorm over a cup of coffee or post-work beer, find a uniquely local gift, and a central location to meet up with a friend who lives on the other side of the Triangle,” said Morgan Weston, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Research Triangle Foundation, which owns and manages the site.
