UNC Charlotte, 2U Inc. partnering to help bring tech bootcamps to women and minorities

Training individuals for technology jobs is a priority of any community focused on the innovation sector. In the case of Charlotte, NC, two organizations are focusing specifically on minorities and women.

The University of North Carolina Charlotte is partnering with 2U Inc., an educational technology company that works with colleges and universities to offer online degree programs on the effort that also involves at least 30 other universities across the country. The goal is to create a $3 million scholarship fund that will provide funding to allow minorities and women to access to tech training bootcamps.
