UBS signs-on as “The TENN” master accelerator sponsor
Launch Tennessee’s “The TENN” master accelerator is returning with a new, two-year sponsorship agreement with UBS, a global firm providing financial services. Launched (no pun intended) last year, “The TENN” drew a great deal of attention and helped accelerate the progress of the 10 companies that made it into the program. One – Knoxville-based Survature – just announced a $686,000 seed round of investment from SwiftWing Ventures last week.
Charlie Brock, Launch Tennessee’s Chief Executive Officer, called UBS a “perfect partner” for the organization and what it hopes to achieve with the next two cohorts in “The TENN” program.
Entrepreneurship is one of two UBS philanthropic focus areas. The company’s “Elevating Entrepreneurs” initiative is designed to empower under-resourced, high-potential small business owners with high-impact business mentoring, access to capital and education and networking opportunities.
