Kristina Montague, Managing Partner at The JumpFund in Chattanooga, shared with us to articles in national publications spotlighting two of the firm’s portfolio companies. “Both happen to be Black women in tech,” Montague wrote in her mail.

• An article in Forbes focuses on Roshawnna Novellus, an entrepreneur who has developed EnrichHer, a platform that helps women entrepreneurs generating annual sales of at least $50,000 raise debt via Regulation Crowdfunding. When she needed to raise funding to build-out her platform, Novellus turned to The JumpFund. She recently won two major competitions – Stella Labs’ “Women’s Fast Pitch” at the Women’s Venture Summit in San Diego and SoGal’s “Regional Pitch Competition” in Charlotte.
• The second article from Inc. is a spotlight on the magazine’s “100 Women Building America’s Most Innovative and Ambitious Businesses.” One of them is Sevetri Wilson of New Orleans (click here for the spotlight on her). Her first company, a consulting agency for non-profits, faced a serious challenge: plenty of non-profits needed help, but not many could afford it. Her second company, named Resilia, is an attempt to solve that problem. It’s a software management platform that attempts to make nonprofit consulting faster, cheaper, and more reliable by automating it.
