Two Nashville firms lead Series A round for Brentwood-based CaringWays
It might be described as an all Middle Tennessee deal.
CaringWays, a Brentwood-based fundraising platform designed specifically to help patients pay for medical expenses with ease and security, has announced a Series A capital raise of $2.5 million. The round was co-led by Caduceus Capital Partners and Harpeth Ventures, both Nashville-based.
The new capital supports plans to accelerate growth and expansion in the healthcare services market at the company that offers a straightforward, secure way for patients to crowdfund and pay directly for medical expenses, prescription drugs and other health-related needs.
