“Twende’ Summit” scheduled for June 24 in Nashville
The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) and its partners will hold the 2022 “Twende’ Summit” on June 24 with “Amplifying Black Entrepreneurs” as the theme.
Scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT at the EC, 41 Peabody Street, the event is designed to bring together entrepreneurs, community leaders, partners, and supporters across Tennessee for a day of learning and support to:
- Elevate and recognize participants in the Twende’ program;
- Equip Black and Latinx entrepreneurs with tools and resources to grow their business; and
- Engage Black and Latinx founders in joining Twende as the program expands across the Volunteer State.
Among the sessions planned are these:
- “How to Do Business with Big Businesses”: A panel discussion with leaders across Tennessee on ways Black entrepreneurs can grow their business with government and corporate partners.
- “Show Me the Money”: A workshop to learn about funding opportunities with grants, loans, and private investments.
- “Thriving in Life and Business as a Black Entrepreneur”: A conversation on how to build a successful business, amplify a brand, and build relationships that help Black entrepreneurs thrive.
