The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) and its partners will hold the 2022 “Twende’ Summit” on June 24 with “Amplifying Black Entrepreneurs” as the theme.

Scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT at the EC, 41 Peabody Street, the event is designed to bring together entrepreneurs, community leaders, partners, and supporters across Tennessee for a day of learning and support to:

  • Elevate and recognize participants in the Twende’ program;
  • Equip Black and Latinx entrepreneurs with tools and resources to grow their business; and
  • Engage Black and Latinx founders in joining Twende as the program expands across the Volunteer State.

Among the sessions planned are these:

  • “Show Me the Money”: A workshop to learn about funding opportunities with grants, loans, and private investments.
  • “Thriving in Life and Business as a Black Entrepreneur”: A conversation on how to build a successful business, amplify a brand, and build relationships that help Black entrepreneurs thrive.
