TVA Board Member Mike McWherter to keynote upcoming “TREEDC Conference”
Mike McWherter, a member of the TVA Board of Directors, will keynote next month’s third annual “TREEDC Conference” at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. The event, hosted by the Tennessee Renewable Energy and Economic Development Council, begins at 1:30 p.m. December 15 and ends before lunch on December 16.
“We will hear presentations on various Tennessee municipal best practices in renewable energy from our TREEDC Clean Energy businesses,” said Warren Nevad, TREEDC Director. “Also, we will hear from state officials representing TDEC (Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation) and ECD (Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development) on grant opportunities and developments in Tennessee.”
