He succeeds former Knoxvillian Chuck Witkowski who is now CEO of the global manufacturer of disability devices.

“With nearly two decades of transformative leadership at Permobil – including 10 years as SVP of Sales – Todd has been a driving force behind our growth in the Americas,” says Chuck Witkowski, the recently named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Permobil. “His deep industry expertise, unwavering passion, and proven ability to build and inspire talented teams will help propel Permobil into an even brighter future. Todd isn’t just stepping into this role, he’s ready to help redefine what’s possible for our customers and end-users across the region.”

Walling joined Permobil in 2007 after visiting the company’s Tennessee office, where he was struck by its mission to deliver real solutions for people living with disabilities and the passion of its employees. That purpose and spirit remain central to Permobil today.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step into this role,” said Walling. “Permobil has been a huge part of my life for a long time, and I see us continuing to evolve into the most innovative mobility solution manufacturer in the market. My priorities will be to ensure the voices of our end-users and customers are heard and acted upon, and to further our mission by making Permobil the easiest company to work with. I’ve been part of the journey from a big, small company to a small, big company, and I’m proud of how far we’ve come.”

Walling succeeds Witkowski, who was recently appointed global CEO. He will continue to be based in Nashville.

Before joining Permobil in 2007, Walling held various roles at The MED Group, concluding as Rehab Product Manager. At Permobil, he rose through the sales organization to his current leadership position and played a key role in integrating acquisitions such as TiLite, ROHO, and Comfort Company. Walling holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Texas Tech University and enjoys American football and exploring the world with his wife.
