Three non-profits join forces for shared space in Charlotte
In a sign of both corporate assistance and collaboration, three Charlotte area non-profits focused on serving distinct populations have come together to share a 3,000 square foot programming space.
Named Innovation Alley, the facility includes a workshop and maker space, 3D printing lab, classroom, shared storage space, and active tool lab. Digi-Bridge, She Built This City, and Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte received $300,000 in funding from The Lowe’s Foundation to underwrite the initiative over the next three years.
