The Wond’ry offering two programs for entrepreneurs in the Southeast

The Sullivan Family Ideator and the Builder are opportunities for students, faculty, staff members, and alumni who want to "kick the tires" on an idea or take it to the next level.

The Wond’ry at Vanderbilt University is offering a series of programs to assist university innovators (students, faculty, staff members, and alumni). Both of the programs are open to any innovator at a university located in the Southeast region of the U.S.

  • The Sullivan Family Ideator is for innovators who want to take the ideas that have been percolating in their minds and bring them out into daylight. This program teaches an evidence-based approach to idea evaluation. Is the idea needed? Who is the ideal audience? Where do you even start? Ideator is here to help answer those questions. Centered around customer discovery, Lean Launch methodology, and market evaluation, Ideator will help you determine if your idea has potential or maybe needs a bit more time at the drawing board. It is a six-session program that runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST starting January 13.
  • Next up is something called the Builder which, as its name implies, builds on the Ideator program. Participants should have an idea for which they have found problem-solution fit and be working to achieve product-market fit. Problem-solution fit is defined as having a customer segment identified with at least one value proposition (need) for that segment and that both (segment and value proposition) can be defended with evidence from the previously completed customer discovery process. The eight-session series, running one-hour each Saturday, begins at 2 p.m. CST on January 13.
