The Switch is name selected for Birmingham’s new innovation district
Birmingham’s downtown innovation district now has a name – The Switch. According to an article in the Birmingham News, the branding is meant to establish a section of downtown Birmingham in the public consciousness as a nexus for entrepreneurs and a vibrant culture of innovation. More important, The Switch has the backing of 14 Birmingham organizations.
