The LITE House shows-off new co-working space in Athens

We were headed to Atlanta on Friday to attend the PGA Tour Championship finale, so we were able to stop in Athens for the open house at the city’s new co-working space.

Located at 1 West College Street, The LITE House, occupying roughly 1,500 square foot area, is located near Tennessee Wesleyan University as noted in this recent teknovation.biz post. The space includes private offices, hot desks and other conversation areas along with a break area. They are pictured here.

Here is Anne Montgomery, a Tennessee Wesleyan faculty member and very active player in the planning for the facility. She is pictured outside the entry door with a list of the major supporters of The LITE House.

Branding was very important to the organizing team as evidenced by everything from some of the tables in the work area to the M & Ms that were packaged in light bulbs as a gift for attendees.

The LITE House plans an on-going series of events as evidenced by this announcement board.
