July CEG ‘InTheHouse’ – Everyone is invited!

doing business in China

Chris Wingo, Founder and Managing Director, China Sage Consultants, has lived and managed B2B sales efforts in China since early 1997. He founded China Sage Consultants (CSC) to help U.S. SMEs sell more effectively in China. CSC’s China Sales Incubator is a full-service sales outsourcing program that cost-effectively helps SMEs strategically build sales in China while preparing them for setting up their own entity. Since 2005, CSC has set up and managed the China sales efforts for over 20 SME-sized client-companies as well as advised and supported multinational clients such as GE Energy and Manitowoc Cranes with other sales related initiatives. CSC has generated more than $25 million in export sales for its clients while helping them establish their strategic position in China.

From 1975 to 1978 Chris attended Roane County High before returning to his native California. Chris holds both a BSME and MBA degrees from California State University, Fullerton.

Chris will be “in the house” July 9th to discuss his experience coordinating business in China.  Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience doing business in the worlds second largest economy and one day in the not so distant future, China will be THE largest economy on the planet and we will all likely be trying to figure out how to do business there.

Dharmesh Shah, founder of HubSpot and prolific blogger said of all startups: “whether or not you think your’re a global company, you are.” There are several way s to consider this. The majority of your potential customers are likely to live in another country. The majority of your competitors are likely to come form another country. If ou are going to make something, chances are you’ll make it in another country.
