Nine teams participating in “Tennessee Venture Challenge”
Nine teams are currently participating in the latest iteration of the “Tennessee Venture Challenge” hosted by the University of Tennessee’s Research Foundation.
The nine are:
- Farm Specific Technology, LLC (FarmSpec);
- T&T Scientific Corporation;
- Peroxygen Systems, Inc.;
- TechSmarrt;
- Solid Ionics;
- Iono Pharma LLC;
- MedStr;
- CWZ Nutrition; and
- MEMSoft.

The principals in these ventures are participating in a series of weekly workshops, held for two hours each Tuesday, and a chance to compete in the finale on April 6 where up to $25,000 in prize monies will be awarded. The pitch event is set for 3 to 5 p.m. at The Foundry on the Fair Site.
