30-Day Photo Challenge wins “Tri-Cities Startup Weekend”
We caught-up over the weekend with Dave Lawrence of AccelNow, the Northeast Tennessee regional accelerator, to see how the Tri-Cities Startup Weekend was going.
“It’s going great! We had 42 registrations, 16 pitches, picked the top 8 and they formed teams,” Lawrence said.
Lawrence said late Sunday that “30-Day Photo Challenge, a very cool and unique new phone app, won the competition.” He had previously said that the winning team would receive prizes and will be eligible to participate in “Global Startup Battle,” a worldwide video pitch competition open only to “Startup Weekend” winners of events held during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
