Surgiorithm wins inaugural “Nashville Startup Week” pitch competition
Two companies in the healthcare space competed for the top prize in last night’s finale of the inaugural “Nashville Startup Week” pitch competition.
In the end, Surgiorithm, which is focused on helping ophthalmologists increase practice revenue and conversion rates for elective or self-pay procedures, bested Experience Global, a company that has recently decided to focus exclusively on helping hospitals improve patient satisfaction scores.
A total of six teams, which advanced from competitions on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights, vied to win the pitch event that included a series of rounds ahead of the final showdown. Two of the six – Gigamunch and Mixtroz – were companies previously profiled on teknovation.biz.
“Nashville Startup Week” concludes with a series of talks this afternoon and a party tonight.
