Strategio helping address talent gap and providing opportunities for underrepresented individuals

A Miami start-up is addressing the talent needs of others by paying individuals, particularly those in underrepresented groups, to train for eight weeks and also providing health insurance coverage during training and initial job placement.

The company is Strategio, launched in August after raising $2 million from Hydrogen Group PLC, an investment enterprise headquartered in the United Kingdom. The goal is to remove the financial barriers that often prevent Black, Hispanic and other underrepresented groups from earning needed qualifications that would allow them to secure jobs at large companies.

You can read more about the start-up’s plan for creating “Strategio technologists” here.
