New specialty accelerator to launch next year in Indianapolis
The Heritage Group in Indianapolis is expanding on an announcement it made several weeks ago to launch a venture arm that would invest $50 million in growth companies annually. The family-run business announced recently that it is partnering with the worldwide entrepreneurial mentoring network Techstars to start a business accelerator. Applications for the first group of start-ups will open in early 2019 with a focus on companies innovating in the materials science, environmental services and specialty chemical fields.
