
S&P outlook for region not as rosy as for other areas of the country
Standard & Poor’s economic forecast for 2015 says that our region of the country, defined as East South Central, will be a little below the middle of the pack. Five regions are ahead of us, three behind in terms of “Real Regional GDP.” In terms of federal spending, we are in one of five regions expected to see a negative growth.
