Smart city initiative to be spotlighted at TAEBC annual meeting

The Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council will also discuss rural solar and EV charging networks and the future of EV supply networks.

The Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council (TAEBC) has announced the agenda for its annual meeting that begins at 1 p.m. CST on March 7 at Schneider Electric’s Nashville Hub located at 6700 Tower Circle, Suite 700, in Franklin.

The event, scheduled to end at 4:30 p.m., features:

  • Panels on smart city developments in Chattanooga and partnerships to build out rural solar and electric vehicle (EV) charging networks;
  • An update on TVA’s Integrated Resource Plan;
  • A discussion about the future of the EV supply chain; and
  • Member highlights and partnership updates.

Speakers, in alphabetical order, include:

  • Daniel Crawley of EPB;
  • Malissa Gordon of Piedmont Lithium;
  • Chassen Haynes of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development;
  • Curt Jawdy of TVA;
  • Taisia Malakasis of CO.LAB;
  • Tyson Morris of the City of Chattanooga; and
  • Mina Sartipi of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
