SKU expands consumer goods accelerator to Atlanta

SKU, an Austin-based accelerator for consumer packaged goods companies, is accepting applications for both the original location and a recently announced expansion into Atlanta.

According to the application site, SKU explains that the companies do not need to be based in Austin or Atlanta to apply. “We are accepting applications from companies across the country. SKU Austin will run January-April 2022, SKU Atlanta will start in February and end in May 2022. The entirety of both programs will be accessible remotely.”

At the end of both programs, companies pitch in a showcase event for investors and venture capitalists. A cash bonus upon completion of the program of $20,000 is available.

Regular readers of teknovation.biz will recall that two Chattanooga enterprises – CO.LAB and Proof – launched their own accelerator for consumer goods and also expanded the 10-week program in collaboration with the The Biz Foundry in Cookeville, Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC), and Sync.Space in Kingsport.
