It’s shaping-up as a good evening for entrepreneurs in Knoxville

Entrepreneurial EnergyThere will be a good deal of entrepreneurial energy in the air at about the same time late this afternoon when two events launch, one in downtown Knoxville and the other on the University of Tennessee’s Knoxville (UTK) campus.

The six-session “Fall Vol Court” series gets underway at 5:15 p.m. in Room 102 of UTK’s Haslam Business Administration Building. The twice-a-year series for student, faculty and community entrepreneurs is coordinated by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Fifteen minutes later and a mile or so away, Entrepreneurs of Knoxville is holding a “qualifying round” where a panel of three judges will select five finalists for a pitch competition that is planned for November 5. The networking starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center on Market Square with the program beginning at 6 p.m.
