Seven area celebrations commemorate “Drive Electric Earth Day”

Events are scheduled in Chattanooga, Cookeville, Jefferson City, Knoxville, Maryville, and Oak Ridge.

Drive Electric Tennessee and local partners are celebrating Earth Day all month long. Throughout April, the organization has scheduled a series of “Drive Electric Earth Day” (DEED) events across the State of Tennessee. They are, in chronological order:

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT April 15 at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville (details here);
  • 3 to 7 p.m. EDT April 15 at Carson Newman University in Jefferson City (details here);
  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT April 19 at Maryville College (details here);
  • 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT April 22 at Orange Hat Brewing Company in Knoxville (details here);
  • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT April 22 at Finley Stadium Davenport Field in Chattanooga (details here);
  • 8 a.m. to 12 noon EDT April 22 at Jackson Square in Oak Ridge (details here);
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT April 22 at The Great Lawn at Centennial Park in Nashville (details here); and
  • 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EDT April 29 at the World’s Fair Park in Knoxville (details here).
