SC Launch names new Director
SC Launch has named a new Director.
Russell Cook, formerly Managing Director for Comporium Ventures, will lead the affiliate of the South Carolina Research Authority and also serve as Executive Director of SC Launch Inc. (SCI). The former provides mentoring, networking, and grant funding to eligible companies that are employing new technologies within the life science, technology, and advanced manufacturing industries.
Cook will also serve as the liaison to the SCI Board of Directors which makes capital investments in SC Launch companies that successfully complete the due diligence process. Established in 2006, SCI is an independent, nonprofit corporate affiliate of SCRA.
Comporium Ventures is a diversified privately held communications company located in Rock Hill, SC.
