The finale for the inaugural “Scipreneur Challenge” begins at 6 p.m. Thursday (November 7) in Room 147 of the Joint Institute for Advanced Materials on the University of Tennessee (UT) Research Park at Cherokee Farm.
The program is an effort of the Knoxville Chapter of Life Science Tennessee’s Academic Alliance. Using technologies provided by the UT Research Foundation and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, student teams have been developing business plans for the inventions since shortly after Labor Day. They will present their ideas at the event.
